ABOUT ME
I’m a freelance visual designer and illustrator deeply passionate about creating work that feels human, raw, and real. My specialization lies in crafting screen-printed gig posters, LP artwork, band merchandise, skateboard decks, alternative movie posters, and visual ephemera, all rooted in subculture, storytelling, and a touch of analog grit.I’m drawn to projects with character, where the narrative is as enchanting as the visuals. Getting my hands dirty is where I thrive—using screen printing, rubdown type, and tactile techniques to infuse texture and intention into every piece. I'm always eager to learn and grow; I'd rather attempt something new, stumble a bit, and evolve than simply say, “I can’t.” I embrace challenges, whether it's building brand visuals for a soulful small business or designing a gig poster for a friend's band. Curiosity and care drive my approach, alongside a profound respect for design theory, all while relishing breaking the grid. My aesthetic leans toward bold typography, gritty visuals, and an appreciation for the imperfectly real.
The Adobe Creative Suite—feels like second nature to me. I navigate confidently through both print and digital realms, yet my creative essence is deeply analog, fueled by texture, tone, and storytelling. When I’m not designing, you'll likely find me and my wife strolling through vintage markets with our dogs in a stroller or rummaging through flea markets for analog print relics and one more vintage jacket to add to my ever-growing collection. I also enjoy late nights revisiting quirky ‘80s and ‘90s films or working on personal projects, such as creating a six-color screen print of my latest illustrated poster.
